Why is placing my order with Rustico better than ordering from another online vendor?
Rustico creates the finest handmade leather journals, log books, accessories, and other leather products available. Every item we sell is hand-made by our experienced craftsmen in our facility. Manufacturing the handmade leather journals and other leather products within the walls of our facility allows us to keep a close eye on quality and consistency. In an effort to further ensure customer satisfaction, each and every item must pass our quality inspection prior to shipping. When you order from Rustico you can rest assured that you will be receiving nothing but the best.
Once I place my order with Rustico, how long will it take for the order to be processed and shipped?
All orders are put into production within 24 to 48 hours of receipt of order. When checking status of your order, it will say "processing" until it ships. All orders are shipped within 3-5 business days from the time the order was placed. If you opt to use ground shipping, orders can take up to 7 days to be delivered from the time of shipment--depending on your location. It may take up to 12 business days for your order to arrive.
Do you ship outside of the US?
We ship to a selection of countries outside the United States. Available countries can be viewed in the dropdown upon checkout. International orders do not qualitfy for our "free shipping for orders over $75" offer.

How do I know that my order has been received?
Once your order has been processed, you will receive an email confirming your order as well as a receipt for the products purchased.
How durable are your journals?
All of our journals are made with Top Grain leathers and are bound using a special binding process that pays strict attention to detail. We create each handsewn leather journal or notebook to last a lifetime of use and abuse. The way we see it - special memories last a lifetime, so the journals you keep these memories in should too.
Is there a reason why all of your products are made in the USA?
Because we make all of our products in our Utah-based studio, we know how important it is to support other local suppliers and vendors. We also have much more control over the quality of raw material we are purchasing and having produced for us by purchasing locally. In the end, our customers can tell the difference in quality between handmade goods made locally and those made abroad, and having products made in the USA allows us to provide you with the finest products available.
Where do you come up with ideas for your new products?
Simply put - our products are based on needs that we see around us every day. The first Rustico Traveler journal was created because Isaac Childs (founder of Rustico Leather) could not find a long-lasting notebook that could withstand the beatings that come with an active and fulfilling lifestyle. Since then, our ideas have come to us by recognizing that there is something out there that could be done better. For example, our men's Money Clip was created because most styles of mens wallets are too bulky, cumbersome and excessive. We wanted to create something that holds the things you absolutely need--cash, ID, and credit cards--not the things you don't.
